What AI engineers do
Most people working with AI are not mathematicians.
They:
- use existing models
- adapt them to real problems
- connect data, models, and systems
That is why AI engineer is a good name for this role, because same as engineers they apply the tools that mathematicians create.
They choose from existing architectures that match their needs.
